I have made the trip at least twenty times but this go round my internal clock refused to reconcile with the one in California.

Did I have fun? Of course.

Did I fall asleep at the dinner table? Let’s not talk about it.

I’m back in Virginia again and the weather is giving us a lovely spring tease. Tomorrow I’ll be shooting my first outdoor maternity session of the year. I’m so excited!

Better get a good night’s sleep…

I am unable to throw away holiday cards.

Seriously, I have a box with well over 5 years of cards along with an album containing every holiday letter or picture anyone has ever sent to our family. Some of these people we don’t even know anymore.

Weird?

Usually, I leave holiday cards up for display in our home until sometime in February. And then I add them to the box under the bed in my guest room. It just *feels* better than tossing them into the trash. I mean, people work so hard on those!

So, it’s that time of year again for me and the french doors…

When do you put away your holiday cards? And what do you do with them?
