Ahhhhhh…it feels so nice to have a space of my own again. For the last year, I’ve struggled between concentrating on photography and keeping up with my writing/blogging/social networking commitments. In December of 2010, I decided that Petroville (my 6 yr & dear old blog) would end with the year. Everything else followed suit.

January of 2011 consisted of organizing and brainstorming and starting from scratch. It was also extremely quiet. Now, I’m back and intend to use this blog as an online journal for my life ~ the photography business and anything else worth sharing with my lovely online friends.

I want to take a moment to thank my mentor, Marta Locklear, and my friend & designer, Leanne Wildermuth. I am so blessed to have these talented women in my life! I’d also like to thank my mother, who selflessly keeps me and my business moving forward.
