About

A million years ago, I eloped in Vegas and went from an aspiring actress to a stay-at-home mommy. Soon after the kiddos ditched their diapers and went off to school, I fell head over heels for a Nikon D70, later a D700, and natural light. In 2009, Joslyn Place Photography was born.

At 35-ish, I am Wife to 1, Mom to 4 and keeper of 7 pets. I totally dig my life…but not always the smell of it.

When I’m not behind the camera or tending to my lovely family, I am a Jazzercise instructor, freelance writer, lover of mulch, reality tv and consider myself a stellar party thrower. I also spend entirely too much time in the barn with OPP (other people’s ponies).
